Translated by Yao Chun, People's Daily Online
According to the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of Tibet autonomous region, between 2011 and 2015 the China central government will invest 2 billion every year for the implementation of Tibet grassland ecological protection reward mechanism. This policy will subsidize the ban on grassland grazing, diversification of forage grass and the improvement of livestock breeds.

Zhu Chunsheng, deputy director of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of Tibet Autonomous Region, said this policy would benefit more than 200 thousand farm households in Tibet whose per capita income would increase by about 2,000 yuan.
