Ministry of Education opens official microblog to thank teachers

On Aug. 11, China's Ministry of Education opened an official microblog to celebrate the upcoming 27th Teachers' Day that falls on Sept. 10.

The microblog, titled "Gratitude for Teachers," provides a platform for the public to express their greetings and gratitude to their teachers.

In addition, the Ministry of Education will launch a series of activities to celebrate Teachers' Day for the country's 17 million teachers.

It is reported that an evening gala will be staged on CCTV to mark Teachers' Day on Sept. 10. The crew has launched an activity with the theme "Soliciting the moving moment of country teachers" for the gala.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education held an activity to select a "Teachers' Song." and the activity entered into the voting phase on Aug. 11.

Furthermore, 10 national models for teachers have been selected, and they will attend the evening gala on Teachers' Day to display their professional ethics and personal charm.
