Wenzhou, a city of eastern China's Zhejiang province, started open recruitment for "Red CEOs" for the second time recently, according to news from the local municipal organization department.

"Red CEO" refers to the secretary of the party organization in a privately-owned enterprise. Wenzhou recruited the party secretaries for privately-owned enterprises for the first time last year, which attracted wide attention nationwide. The word "Red CEO" also became a popular word online last year.

In terms of this year's recruitment, a total of 33 enterprises are qualified to hold open recruitment, eight more than last year.

This year's recruitment and selection work is divided into six aspects, including enrollment, qualification examination, primary selection, interview and background investigation. Applicants can choose to enroll on site or on the Internet, and each applicant is allowed to apply to no more than two posts.
