A guided-missile battalion of the air force under the Guangzhou Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) conducted a passing-through-desert training in Badan Jaran Desert in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

During the training, the troops carried out desert martial arts performances, desert racing and beach volleyball. The training tempered the fighting spirit of troops and enriched their cultural life.
