Guangzhou MAC Soldiers Art Troupe holds theatrical evening party in Hong Kong

The grand theatrical evening party entitled Love in Hong Kong organized by the Soldiers Art Troupe of the Guangzhou Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held in public on the evening of June 3, 2012 at the Hong Kong Coliseum, marking the beginning of celebrations of the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

Featuring the characteristics of Hong Kong and the military, the evening party showed local conditions and customs as well as places of cultural interest, and also the changes that have taken place in the past 15 years since Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

Tung Chee-hwa, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Zhang Shibo, commander of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison, Wang Zhimin, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR), Hong Xiaoyong, acting commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the HKSAR, and more than five thousand Hong Kong residents and some officers and men of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison watched the evening party together.
