PLA Air Force opens first International Cadets Week

The first International Cadets Week held by the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), with the theme of "Learning from each other, sharing experience, promoting understanding and enhancing friendship", was unveiled at the Air Force Aviation University (AFAU) of the Chinese PLA on May 21, 2012. 22 cadets from the air force academies of 11 countries including the UK, France, Germany and Japan will form an international simulative cadet team with some Chinese cadets for the one-week-long learning and exchange activities.

  The same events have been organized for five times by the PLA army and naval academies. This is the first time for the PLA air force academy to hold the International Cadets Week.
