Officers and men in winter training

The officers and men are marching in snow against wind. (Chinamil/Zhu Xiaohu, Fan Qinghe, Bai Tianren and Yang Zaixin)

In Mid-February, a motorized infantry regiment of the Shenyang Military Area Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army conducted a 7 days and nights' winter training close to actual combat under frigid weather conditions with temperature as low as 40 degrees below zero in a snowy forest. The pictures feature the training scenes of the officers and men.
