China's peacekeeping forces head to Lebanon

On Oct. 29, China's second echelon of ninth peacekeeping forces to Lebanon gave a victory signal and waved goodbye. (Xinhua/Gao Xiaowen)



On Oct. 29, Chinese second echelon's 145 officials and soldiers of the ninth peacekeeping forces to Lebanon prepared to depart from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. They arrived at Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 30 and took turns with the second echelon of the eighth peacekeeping forces to Lebanon.
