Jing Zhiyuan on visit to Mexico and Peru

At the invitation of the militaries of Mexico and Peru, Jing Zhiyuan, member of the Central Military Commission and commander of the Second Artillery Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), and his party left Beijing on the morning of August 12, 2011, for a good-will visit to the two countries. Shi Xiangyuan, deputy commander of the Shenyang Military Area Command (MAC) of the PLA, and Liu Shenyang, deputy commander of the Jinan MAC of the PLA, were in the party. Guan Youfei, deputy director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China, among others saw them off at the airport.
