China's top legislature to review 2012 gov't accounts report

BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, will review the State Council's reports on the central government's final accounts for 2012 during an upcoming session, according to a statement from a committee chairpersons' meeting held Friday.

Legislators will also examine and approve the final accounts during the NPC session, which is scheduled to run from June 26 to 29, the statement said.

Friday's meeting was presided over by top legislator Zhang Dejiang.
