Zhao Kezhi elected Party chief of Guizhou Province

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee recently decided Zhao Kezhi to be the secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPC, replacing Li Zhanshu on July 18, 2012.

Li will be given other appointment.

Zhao Kezhi, born in December 1953, was elected to the post at the first plenary meeting of the 11th CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee.

Zhao, a native of Laixi city in Shandong province, joined the CPC in 1975.

Zhao served as the deputy secretary of Guizhou Province in Southwest China before being appointed by the CPC Central Committee as Party chief of Guizhou in July this year.
