BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan on Sunday met with international advisors of the China Investment Corporation (CIC), and discussed with them the current world economic situation.

The 11 advisors, including former Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and former President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jean Lemierre, are members of an international consultative committee for the CIC.

The CIC, established in 2007, is a state-owned forex investment company set up to make better use of China's huge foreign exchange reserve, with a registered capital of 200 billion U.S. dollars.
