Reshuffle not damaging business in Chongqing: spokesman

BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese mainland spokesman on Wednesday claimed that business conditions for Taiwanese firms in Chongqing will continue to improve despite a reshuffle in the municipality's administration.

Speaking at a regular press conference, Yang Yi, spokesman for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said the city's party committee and government have made clear that they will stick to their policy of opening-up.
