Top Chinese leaders attend Lunar New Year reception

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao addresses a Spring Festival reception held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the State Council in Beijing, capital of China, Jan. 21, 2012, to mark the upcoming Lunar New Year, which falls on Jan. 23 this year. All the members of Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, including President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao, top political advisor Jia Qinglin and senior leaders Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang attended the reception. BEIJING, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Nine top Chinese leaders attended a reception held Saturday morning ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival.

All the members of Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, including President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao, top political advisor Jia Qinglin and senior leaders Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang attended the reception.

The Chinese Lunar New Year falls on Jan. 23 this year.
