CPC official says to enhance cooperation with Communist Party in Moldova

BEIJING, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said on Wednesday that the CPC hopes to enhance communication and cooperation with the Communist Party in Moldova (CPM) to promote bilateral ties.

The pledge came during a meeting between Head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee Li Yuanchao and Iurie Muntean, the executive secretary of the CPM.

Li, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, spoke highly of the contribution made by the CPM toward the China-Moldova friendship.

He thanked Moldova for its support on issues concerning China's core interests, saying the CPC hopes to further enhance communication and cooperation with the CPM, and enrich the connotation of the two parties' relations in order to promote relations between the two countries.

Li also briefed Muntean on the history, governance, organization and personnel system of the CPC.

Muntean said Moldova highly values its traditional friendship with the CPC, hopes to learn from the CPC's success, broaden cooperation in all fields and make efforts in promoting party-to-party relations as well as the two countries' relations.
