16:29, August 26, 2011

On Aug. 25, a cargo ship docked in the Gezhouba Dam prepares to exit the No. 1 ship lock. At 8:00 a.m. the No. 1 ship lock of Gezhouba Dam resumed operations after reconstruction of the central control system, which lasted 15 days. This reconstruction was finished five days earlier than the scheduled time, and it helped relieve the backlog of boats in the Three Gorges Dam area. (Xinhua/Li Kaiyong)
