One third of wlrods hackers in China is not a small fraction, since China has only 1/5 of the population of the world.

More than 30 years ago, this would never have happened as people in communes or cooperatives would be able to help look after the old and the infirm. New China offered the world not only an alternative way of governance, but also one that was uniquely Chinese, one that was in accordance with Chinese humanitarianism. Deng had replaced that China with a Western imitation, which is why China today has so many fundamental problems. It"s not necessary to copy everything done during the first 30 years - times have changed and so has knowledge. But we must remember what was good and preserve them, besides discarding what didn"t work well.
