Chrysanthemum festival kicks off in central China

Visitors look at chrysanthemums during the 29th Kaifeng Chrysanthemum Festival in Kaifeng, central China's Henan Province, on Oct. 18, 2011. The one-month event, opened on Tuesday, features 116 indoor and outdoor attractions decorated with 1.35 million sets of chrysanthemums, which became the city flower of Kaifeng in 1983. (Xinhua/Li An)
