A drought has persisted in Buyi and Miao autonomous prefecture recently. To solve water problems of empty nesters, disabled patients and "left-behind children," local firefighters delivered water to the severe drought-stricken region, provided "water delivery" cards and established water delivery hotlines to ensure adequate supplies of drinking water.
