PLA rescues 200 from floods in Liaoning

At 8:00 a.m. on Aug. 9, Nangoucun, a small village in Liaoning Province was struck by a large rainstorm, the likes of which has not been seen in the past 35 years.

The rainstorm lasted one hour, during which rockslides and landslides poured down. Half of the houses in the village were destroyed or flooded by the rainfall.
