Over 3,000 whooper swans spend winter in east China

A flock of whooper swans seek food in the whooper swan nature reserve in Rongcheng City, east China's Shandong Province, Nov. 21, 2011. Local government has poured 8 million yuan (1.26 million US dollars) in upgrading the nature reserve and by now more than 3,000 whooper swans have settled here to spend winter. (Xinhua/Wang Fudong)
