Giant moon cake unveiled in Shengyang

15:54, September 07, 2011

On Sept. 6, two shoppers look at a giant moon cake displayed at a department store in Shengyang inside northeastern China's Liaoning Province.

The huge moon cake, which measures 100 centimeters in diameter, is baked with a dragon and phoenix imprint on the surface. It took half a month to complete this giant moon cake, which is made with 31.5 kilograms of stuffing and 13.5 kilograms of flour. Local citizens will have a chance to taste the giant moon cake for free on the mid-autumn day. (Xinhua/Zhang Wenkui)
