The Assassins is a Chinese historical drama film directed by Zhao Linshan, starring Chow Yun-fat as Han Dynasty warlord Cao Cao. Other cast members include Chinese actress Liu Yifei and Japanese actor Hiroshi Tamaki. Set in the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history, the story focuses on Cao Cao's life in his later years, exploring the areas of military tactics, love, and power.
