Luoyang Heluo Festival Opens

The Heluo Festival, an annual event that celebrates the cultural and travel resources of Luoyang, the capital city of central China's Henan province, opened on Saturday, September 22, 2012. With a theme commemorating the ancient Silk Road and connecting Asia and Europe, the festival has drawn over 40 performance groups from over 20 countries to participate in the opening gala.
