The Museum of Central Shaanxi Folk Culture, located in Wutai Village which is near to Qinling Mountain, was funded and founded by Mr. Wang Yongchao, a veteran collector of the folk culture relics and also currently the director of the museum. Inside the museum, most of the ancient folk houses, theatrical stages, sculptures and carvings being exhibited were acquired from other places and were recovered in Wutai Village. Focusing on reflecting folklore art in central Shaanxi, the museum plays an important role in saving, protecting and displaying the folk culture and historical heritage.
