Artists perform Meilin Opera in Taining County, Fujian Province

Feng Youcai (R), a Meilin Opera troupe instructor, offers guidance to actresses in Taining County, southeast China's Fujian Province, July 24, 2012. An indigenous folk art that originated in 18th-century Taining, Meilin Opera is still popular among audiences in Fujian and the neighbouring Zhejiang and Jiangxi Provinces.
