Citizens and tourists bathe in "dragon water", a local custom to mark the Dragon Boat Festival, at a beach in Sanya City, south China's Hainan Province, June 23, 2012. People of Hainan Province have a tradition of bathing "dragon water" at the Dragon Boat Festival to keep one safe and healthy in a whole year. People believed that Qu Yuan, a patriot poet during the Warring State Period (475-221 BC), became dragon after he committed suicide in the river. (Xinhua/Hou Jiansen)
