Dragon makes a splash

Dragon dances and a waterway float parade are among the highlights of the opening ceremony of the 2012 Shanghai Folklore Culture Festival yesterday in the Sanlin area of the Pudong New Area.(Photo from Shanghai Daily)

The festival, which runs until May 1, also features art performances from other countries, including Spain, Switzerland and Israel.
