Three Beijing firms awarded intangible cultural heritage bases

The Ministry of Culture on Tuesday awarded 41 organizations, including three Beijing enterprises as state-level intangible cultural heritage productive protection bases .

The three enterprises are: Beijing Enamel Factory Co., Ltd, Beijing Neiliansheng Shoes Co., Ltd. and Beijing Rongbaozhai (the "Studio of Glorious Treasures").

Three major measures in protecting intangible cultural heritage are rescue protection, holistic protection and productive protection. Productive protection indicates changing intangible cultural heritages and resources into cultural products in the preservation while maintaining their essence, integrity, and inheritance.
