Beijing hosts Nordic film fest

Beijing, Nov.14 (People's Daily Online) -- The sixth Nordic Documentary Film Festival (NORDOX 2011) kicked off at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing on Nov. 12, 2011.

The festival screened a rich selection of creative documentary films that explore politics, society, art, music and other aspects of life from the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

At this festival, NORDOX presented several films to audiences, including "The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez," which was produced by Swedish director Fredrik Egerstrand, "The Red Chapel" and other creative documentary films.
