Peking Opera "Notre Dame" staged in Wuhan, China's Hubei

Photo taken on Nov. 13, 2011 shows a scene of the Peking Opera "Notre Dame" at the Luojiashan Theater in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province. The Peking Opera "Notre Dame", which is performed by the winner of China Drama Plum Blossom Awards Shi Yihong, is a new adaptation of Victor Hugo's "Notre Dame de Paris." It interprets the spirit of Hugo in Chinese form with the enriched oriental art elements. (Xinhua/Zhao Jun)
