The Northern Shaanxi Art Exhibition kicked off in Yanhuang Art Gallery in Beijing on Oct. 29 to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China as well as the 62nd anniversary of People's Republic of China.

The exhibition used contemporary visual language art to express the early Communist Party of China's 13 years of glorious days in the Northern Shaanxi revolutionary region and the characteristic customs of the local people.

It carried forward the "red culture" of Northern Shaanxi and cultivated people's traditional cultural knowledge as well as patriotic feelings.(Ma Xi)
