Chinese dragon lantern unveiled in Rotterdam

On Sept.1, some tourists watch a giant Chinese–dragon-shaped lantern at the Rotterdam port. On that day, a huge Chinese-dragon-shaped lantern of100 meters long showcased on a cargo ship in the Europe’s largest port, the port of Rotterdam. The lantern is specially designed for the upcoming World Port Festival to be held in Rotterdam. As one of celebration activities, the “Chinese dragon” parade will be present during the festival. The annual World Port Festival is one of the largest comprehensive celebrations in Rotterdam. (Xinhua/ Pan Zhi)
