★ Read: US reporter talks West's anti-China campaign

1. Posted by Sam Teng at 2011-10-12 21:38:11
I salute to Andre Vitchek, the US journalist for being so honest and bold in his reporting about the western media anti China campaign. I have been following the western media report about China and have the same opinion that they only spread lies and rumors to shame China and its people. Despite their all out efforts, it has failed to derail the Chinese people and will top keep on developing and bring peace and prosperity to its people and country. The US and its western allies cannot see another global competitor on power and economy. They will try to nib it at the bud stage. Such antics had been used by the US and its western powers for far too long. The rest of the worlds have been watching but they are too dependent on the US and its allies. China and its people should continue to counter such malicious acts to show the world who are the real culprits in the global scene. They will stoop to such low level to fabricate lies and rumors just to satisfy their desires and aims. Where is the weapon of mass destruction in Iraq? Why they shout about human rights and democracy when innocent people are killed almost every day by their drone attacks? Why are the Palestinians still being treated as second class in the Middle East? Why Asian countries are spared from media attacks only if they kowtow to US and its western allies? You don’t have to look far. Just focus on the US and its Allies,,,,you will have all the answers.(More)

Here I would like to add some points:
When 1USD > 8 Yuan, no protest from US side; but with Yuan appreciation (after 2001), US unemployment is increasing year by year and economy is worse and worse. Why Barack OBama and US government did not find the reason of economy recession from their own side? Did they take into consideration how much cost they spent on war instead of US people? It is easy to blame others instead of themselves.(More)

I, fully support the view of the writer. China must do what China thinks is right.US has their own agenda. The US Democrats/Republicans are fighting amongst themselves to such an extend the country is becoming rejection of Osama’s job bill. China must make full use of this period of economic turmoil of US/EU to build up more strongly on our own military capabilities, R&D cyberspace, etc to catch up to be on par in the next 5-10 yrs with the West. Otherwise China will go done like what Japan is becoming, a 2nd class power soon. Best Wishes for a strong China."Concerned citizen of the world"(More)

Most, if not all, current unemployment, sovereign and State debt, housing foreclosing, other problems in the U.S. can be traced to deregulation, tax breaks for corporations and the rich, and the 2008 financial crisis caused by Wall Street greed. It has impoverished millions of people around the world. The U.S. refuses to accept responsibility, looks for scapegoats to blame for the mess it created, & expects other countries to bail it out.(More)

If talks only can solve problems, this world wouldn’t be in such a mess. If talks is not just a lip service, global bully Uncle Sam wouldn’t invaded or bombed North Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya and the defunct Yugoslavia. Let’s see, a quick snapshot shows the global bully holding all the cards against China like clandestine supporting Tibet, Sinkiang and Taiwan separatist movements, arms sale to Taiwan, fomenting instability and mistrusts in the Korean peninsula and South China Sea disputes, supporting militarily to Japan’s imperialist claims to the Diaoyu islands, currency manipulation bill, fomenting fears of a new wave of colonialism to the Africans on China’s commercial investments in the continent. In the eyes of the western bullies, without a strong economic and military prowess, mutual respect does not exist and hence in most circumstances the talks often ends up with a win-lose affair benefiting the stronger party. Because of face value, all parties including the short changed one will claim a resounding success on the talks.(More)
