Meeting and increasing the quota for building public affordable housing will go a long way to meeting the needs of ordinary Chinese who could then rent and buy cheap and quality public housing. Let the rich pursue the high end developments by private sectors. And compel the private developers to contribute in the construction of low and medium cost housing for the laymen. Cheap accommodation, curbing runaway inflation and eradicating corruption and abuses of power among officials would help China to quickly realise a more harmonious society. (More)

This is another good example of the high-handedness of the US and its Allies in colluding to bully another country. Despite having failed to get the Security Council of the United Nations to impose additional sanctions on Iran, the US and some of its Allies unilaterally imposed the additional sanctions. Then what is the use of the United Nations? The additional sanctions will definitely hurt the people of Iran rather than the government more. Where is your conscience on human rights? Stop the stupid sanctions and return to the negotiation table. The world is watching. (More)
