Host to Ceara in the 13th round of the 2011 Brazilian Championship, Fluminense eased to a 4-0 victory on Sunday.

Fred scored Fluminense's first and only goal of the first half in the 35th minute. Off a free kick delivered from Souza, Fred weaved between three Ceara defenders to head the ball past keeper Diego and into the center of the goal. Fred's goal marks his first of the tournament.

Fluminense made it 2-0 in the 48th minute when Souza took advantage of a loose ball, tapping the ball into the open goal.

Rafael Sobis then scored his first goal since his arrival last week, angling the ball across the field and into the lower left side of the Ceara goal in the 63rd minute.

Rafael Moura scored Fluminense's fourth and final goal in the 76th minute, heading Souza's free kick home.

The win improves Fluminense to eighth place with 18 points. In the 14th round of play, Fluminense will play host to Internacional on August 4.

Ceara remains in 10th place with 18 points. In the next round the team will receive Avai on August 3.
