On Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian national beach soccer team rolled to an amazing 14-1 victory over Paraguay on Sunday.

The match was the first for both teams in the qualifiers for the 2011 FIFA World Cup of Beach Soccer in Ravenna, Italy.

Brazil returns to action on August 3 against Chile. Brazil stands in first place of the South American Conmebol bracket. Although tied with three points, Brazil leads Group A based on its amount of goals scored.

The qualifiers in Copacabana will award three spots to participate in the Sept. 1-11 World Cup.

Brazil will look to win its fifth FIFA World Cup title after winning in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Brazil also holds nine World Championship titles, making it the most successful national team.
