LONDON, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Alistair Brownlee of Britain won the men's triathlon gold medal in 1:46:25 at the Olympic Games here on Tuesday.

Javier Gomez of Spain got the silver in 1:46:36 and Jonathan Brownlee of Britain placed third in 1:46:56.
