ULAN BATOR, April 15 (Xinhua) -- After seven days of fierce competition, Thailand won the title of the second Asian university women's volleyball championship here on Sunday.
Thailand defeated hosts Mongolia 25-21, 30-32, 25-14, 25-15 in the final.
The bronze went to Hong Kong of China.
The championship, organized by Asian University Sports Federation, started on April 9 with teams from Kyrghyzstan, Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia and Hong Kong of China taking part.
The first Asian university women's volleyball championship was held in Bankok, Thailand in 2009.
