Brazil runs over Chile 4-0 in Sao Paulo International Tournament

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Brazilian women's national soccer team cruised to a 4-0 win over Chile in the second game of the Sao Paulo International Tournament on Sunday.

With three goals in a span of 11 minutes as Erika opened in the 13th minute, Rosana in the 23rd minute and Thaisinha in the 26th minute, the Brazilian offense had no trouble in establishing an early and dominant lead. Fabi scored Brazil's fourth goal in the 57th minute.

Brazil beat Italy 5-1 in its first match. Next, Brazil will face Denmark on December 14. The Brazilians have already guaranteed their presence in the finals of the tournament.

Chile suffered its second loss of the tournament and is mathematically eliminated from the hopes of making it to the finals. Brazil's opponent in the finals will either be Denmark or Italy.

In the only other match of the four-team tournament, Italy tied Denmark 2-2 on Sunday and tallied its first point of the tournament.
