Arsenal player Eboue set to join Galatasaray

LONDON, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Premier League side Arsenal on Tuesday confirmed that the they have agreed a transfer deal which will see Emmanuel Eboue join Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The 28-year-old Cote d'Ivoire international, who joined the Gunners in 2005, is heading to Turkey after seeing his playing opportunities at Arsenal become increasingly limited in recent seasons.

"Arsenal have agreed terms with Turkish side Galatasaray for the transfer of Emmanuel Eboue," the club said on its website. "Everyone at Arsenal thanks Manu for his contribution towards the club and wishes him the best of luck for the future."
