The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC) has sold another 50 of its homegrown C919 commercial jets, a competitor to the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320.
CCB Financial Leasing Corp under China Construction Bank said Wednesday that it signed an agreement for 50 C919 orders, COMAC's third sale this year. In June, ABC Financial Leasing Co under Agricultural Bank of China ordered 45 C919s. In February, BOC Aviation Pte Ltd under Bank of China ordered 20 C919s. COMAC now has orders for 330 of the planes.
