(Global Times)

13:15, August 21, 2012

Three new indices were introduced on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Monday to offer investors respective gauges of listed small and medium-sized enterprises' (SMEs) dividend payouts to share holders, corporate management efficiency and profit allocation.

The aim of the indices is to encourage China's publicly-traded SMEs to improve their financial performances and information disclosure practices, which will allow capital holders to make well informed investment choices, according to experts.

It will also push up investor confidence and replenish liquidity on the SME board, experts say.
