China introduces rules regulations for foreign labor cooperation

"Control regulations of Foreign Labor Cooperation" was put into implementation from August 1. As China's first special regulations in the field of foreign labor cooperation, it is a milestone in promoting foreign labor cooperation into a healthy development track by law, commerce minister Chen Deming said.

With the expansion of "going out" strategy in our country, Chinese nationals working overseas have been on rise. China has already sent about 6.1 million workers to more than 160 countries and regions. Foreign labor cooperation plays a positive role in creating employment, promoting economic and social development, increasing national income.

According to incomplete statistics,the foreign currency earnings brought by outside workers exceeds 4 billion U.S. dollars every year and economy conditions of more than 4 million households are improved.
