Slow growth in auto industry

China's light vehicle industry grew by 30 percent in 2010 and is expected to grow by an average of 10 percent for the next five years, according to a survey released by Ernst & Young, Monday.

Automotive companies should carefully evaluate their investments in China, not only for the sake of establishing a strong local presence, but also in order to protect their global competitive position, the survey said.
