On Dec. 8, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) received an order for 20 C919 jets from the China Aircraft Leasing Company. It was the 10th deal for the nation's first passenger jumbo jet, and raised the order backlog for the jumbo jet to 215.

COMAC said that an order booking for 215 C919 jets showed trust in the jumbo jet coming from the market and clients. The company will value their trust and provide clients with truly safe, cost-effective, comfortable and eco-friendly aircraft. The COMAC C919 is a planned family of 150-seat single-aisle narrow-body passenger aircraft being developed domestically.
