Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) will be available at all gas stations of Sinopec in the future. Yum! Brands signed a nationwide cooperation framework agreement with Sinopec on Nov. 23.

According to the agreement, Yum! Brands will open its brand restaurants, such as KFC and Pizza Hut at Sinopec's gas stations, freeway service areas and other properties across the country. However, Yum! Brands did not provide a detailed timetable for the opening of its first brand restaurant at Sinopec gas stations in Beijing.

In addition to KFC and Pizza Hut specified in the agreement, other restaurants that will open at Sinopec gas stations, freeway service areas and other properties include KFC Drive-Through, Pizza Hut Delivery and East Dawning. Yum! Brands said that it would choose brands properly according to actual situations of different gas stations and characteristics of shopping districts, so that the established restaurants could better meet the requirements as supporting facilities of Sinopec gas stations.

Yum! Brands and Sinopec have already started trial cooperation in some regions. As of October 2011, Yum! Brands had opened seven KFC Drive-Through and Pizza Hut Delivery restaurants at Sinopec gas stations in Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong and other places.
