China's stocks close lower on Wednesday

BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 17.56 points, or 0.73 percent, to close at 2,395.07.

The Shenzhen Component Index retreated 70.89 points, or 0.71 percent, to finish at 9,957.32.
