Ctrip reports big gains in Q3 revenues

Beijing, Nov.14 (People's Daily Online) -- Ctrip.com International, Ltd. (Nasdaq:CTRP), a leading travel service provider in China, announced better-than-expected financial results for the third quarter of 2011on Monday.

Ctrip reported net revenues of 975 million yuan (153 million U.S. dollars) in the third quarter of 2011, representing an increase of 20 percent year-on-year. The net income was 325 million yuan (51 million U.S. dollars), up 2 percent year-on-year.
