Beijing, Nov.10 (People's Daily Online) --China ACG Group and Artkey jointly launched China's first animation and comics licensing platform at the third International Art Licensing Trade Fair on Nov. 8.

The two companies will provide professional art licensing consultation services as well as plans for designing and manufacturing licensed art derivatives in order to boost the development of China's animation and comics industry as well as other creative and cultural industries.

Art licensing is now widely used in the development of art derivatives. Statistics showed that the value of art licensing and art derivatives transactions in China amounted to 6 billion yuan in 2010. According to estimates from an international agency, the annual output value of China's art licensing industry can reach 176.7 billion yuan.
